Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help.

Our dear Dakoda, a vibrant and loving young man, son, friend, partner, is currently fighting for his life in a hospital in Bangkok.

Tragically, the unimaginable has happened to Dakoda while abroad, leading to a devastating series of medical emergencies. Because of this, he has suffered multiple heart attacks, and his heart stopped at one point for several minutes, causing significant complications.

He is now in intensive care, on life support, and fighting for his life every moment.

As a family friend and for his family, our focus is on doing everything possible to save Dakoda and bring him home to Canada, where he can be surrounded by loved ones and receive the continued care he so desperately needs. However, the costs to transport him home, along with mounting medical expenses, are overwhelming and far beyond what we can manage alone.

In the meantime, he was transferred to a private clinic that specializes in critical care for cardiovascular & neurology. They are working tirelessly to keep our Dakoda alive.

This is where we humbly ask for your support.

We need to raise approx $100,000.00 to cover the following:

•Emergency medical transportation from Bangkok to Canada (still awaiting quotes )

•Ongoing critical care and treatments

•Any additional medical or logistical costs

•Help with his current financial obligations as he's no longer able to work.

•Help with his close families' financial obligations while they are there by his side & unable to work.

Dakoda is a shining light in the lives of everyone who knows him.

His infectious laugh and big, warm smile have the power to brighten even the darkest days, spreading joy to everyone around him.

As a friend, he is unwaveringly loyal, as a son, he is deeply cherished—a constant source of pride, love, and inspiration to his family.

Dakoda is the kind of son every parent hopes for: kind-hearted, thoughtful, and always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement when they’re needed most.

Dakoda has a remarkable ability to bring life and energy to every situation he’s in. His selflessness and willingness to help others, no matter what, make him someone you can always count on.

He is loved beyond measure by his family—his girls, his mom Jacquie, his sister Jovaughna, and his partner Tamara —who mean the world to him. And so many others. They need him home, we all do.

This Go-fund me campaign is more than just a fundraiser; it’s an opportunity for all of us to give back to someone who has given so much of himself to others.
