Help Bring Dennis Vaughn's Ashes Home

Hi, I'm Amanda, Argue Dennis Vaughn's niece.

Dennis W. Vaughn, known affectionately as "Jackrabbit" to his friends and family, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the age of 62. Dennis was born on July 31, 1962, in Big Rapids, the beloved son of Dale and Darlene Vaughn.

He dedicated much of his life to the construction and pipeline industries. In his leisure time, Dennis enjoyed playing cards and rolling dice.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Darlene Vaughn; children, Daisy Vaughn and Cody Vaughn; grandchild, Olivia; and siblings, Darryl Vaughn, Scott Vaughn, and Dean Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale, and his sister, Denise.

In accordance with Dennis's wishes, no services are planned. Arrangements are being handled by Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.

I'm trying to help raise money to get his ashes back and have a celebration of life. His ashes, I believe, will cost close to $2,900. Still waiting on answers. His daughter and son should not have to worry about how to get money to bury their dad, so I'm breaking down and asking for the community's help. Anything helps.
