Help Bring Grace Home

We are the Bradley family and we are reaching out on behalf of Grace, an amazing young woman who has faced more challenges in life than many of us can imagine. Grace has been a paraplegic nearly all of her life, battling numerous illnesses, countless surgeries, and the loss of her most valuable asset to her own advocation: her voice. That's where we come in.

Through the years she has overcome many obstacles, but none dimmed her light or kept her from dreaming big. Grace decided to finally take her life back into her own hands last year and worked hard to make her dreams a reality. This year, she got the opportunity to travel for the first time in her life, and to Italy, at that! She was so excited to experience the beauty and culture of this beautiful world outside of her own.

Unfortunately, during this trip, a horrifically unfortunate event occurred and Grace suffered a severe stroke. She is now hospitalized in Venice. Alongside paraplegia, she has now lost the use of the left side of her upper body as well.

Her grandmother, Juli Bradley, took the first flight she could get overseas to accompany Grace and assist her in any way possible. There are not many details on if or when she will be released, considering her condition is poor as of right now. Although there is urgency to try and bring her home so she may continue treatment stateside, flying back commercially is strictly not allowed due to her condition. We are working with the US Embassy directly in Italy and the estimated cost of medically transporting Grace is over $40,000. That is not including any expenses being incurred presently.
