Join the Journey: Support a Nurse on Mercy Ships

I have the amazing opportunity to serve in Madagascar with Mercy Ships onboard the Africa Mercy from April to July, 2025! During my 14 weeks onboard the AFM, I will work as a nurse in the operating room alongside other volunteers from around the world.

Mercy Ships follows the 2,000-year-old model of Jesus, bringing hope and healing to the world’s forgotten poor. Globally, 5 billion people lack access to safe surgery. Mercy Ships strives to fight this statistic through the safe and free surgeries offered to those in need. You can learn more at www.mercyships.org .

Joining the mission of Mercy Ships has been a dream since I learned about the organization in 2017. The Lord has opened many doors as I’ve pursued a position onboard, and I am thankful for the ways He continues to provide! I ask that you partner with me in prayer as I prepare to leave in April. Please pray the Lord would strengthen me and guide my hands and feet for His purpose.

I also ask you to prayerfully consider supporting me financially in this mission. Serving onboard the Mercy Ships is an unpaid, volunteer position. Due to urgent volunteer needs on the ship, Mercy Ships has generously covered the cost of my airfare and room & board - praise!! If you feel led to partner with me financially, your contributions will go towards vaccination costs, personal expenses before and on the ship, and help with expenses back home while onboard. Any financial contributions not personally used will be given directly to the mission of Mercy Ships!
