HELP ME GET BACK TO MY CHILDREN – UNFAIR VISA DENIAL!

I am a mother, a wife, and the spouse of an American citizen. And I am stuck in a nightmare.

My name is Ilsia Hernandez, and for the last 19 years, I have been a dedicated wife and mother, raising nine amazing children, including two grandchildren and a daughter proudly serving in the U.S. Navy. My entire life is in the United States—my family, my home, my children who need me.

I followed the rules. I trusted the process. And now, I am trapped in Central America, separated from my family, after being wrongfully denied my visa.

What Happened?

27 years ago, there was a misunderstanding with my last name at the U.S. border. It was resolved, and the U.S. government already forgave me years ago.

✅ I was approved to reapply for a visa, and I followed the legal process.

❌ But when I arrived for my visa appointment, they denied me based on past issues that were already waived.

My fingerprints and background checks should have flagged this before I ever left the U.S. – but they didn’t. Now, I am being punished for doing things the right way instead of hiding in the shadows.

Why This Is So Unfair

My children are in the U.S., waiting for me to come home.

My husband is an American citizen, and we built our lives together in the U.S.

I raised a child who serves this country, and many more who need their mother.

We are losing everything, stuck in a country that is not my home.

I Need Help to Get Back Home

We never imagined asking for help, but now we have no choice. Every day I spend here, my family suffers. We need support to:
