Help Bring Jake Huard Home for a Proper Farewell

Hello, My name is Spencer Huard. I am the younger brother of Jake Huard. Jake was killed in a car accident after being hit by a speeding driver Friday evening, 8/16.

Jake relocated to Los Angeles in early 2022 but is originally from Northern Virginia. He moved to LA to pursue a career in music production and was even producing his own music. By all accounts of those closest to him in Los Angeles, he was thoroughly enjoying life and was beginning to make a name for himself. In fact, the day following his death, Saturday 8/17, he was scheduled to perform his music at a live show that night. He unfortunately never made it to the event as his life was tragically taken by a speeding driver just at the age of 24.

I started this GoFundMe to ask for financial assistance for my family and I to travel to Los Angeles and bring him home to give him a proper funeral and to celebrate his life with those he loved. This will help to cover our airfare, lodging, and any other expenses we may incur bringing my brother home.

Jake was an extremely creative and artistic person who had an ability to infect those around him with his smile and goofy attitude. Any donation would mean the world to us to ease the financial burden tragedies such as these may cause. Thank you for taking the time to read his story.
