Help for Leilah’s Family Member

Hi friends,

I’m asking my community for help as I attempt to bring my young family member to safety. She is a 21yo trans woman who’s recently been through a series of violent attacks from strangers. Her health is not good, and she needs safety and stability to help her get back on her feet. For a variety of reasons, she cannot work at the moment, and needs some time to recover from all she’s been through before she can look for a job.

I recently helped her move from a dangerous household into a safe one. Now I’m trying to raise $15,000 (6 months’ rent + utilities, groceries, and emergency funds).

Anything you can give helps. I am a student, and unable to meet her needs on my own.
