Help Bring Lorna Boston Home to Chicago

It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we announce the passing of the Chicago legend, Lorna Boston. Lorna was the heart and soul of the Windy City Blues scene, and was known not only for her massive talent, but also for her beautiful heart and mega-watt smile. Lorna’s journey in life ended in Tennessee, but it is the wish of not only Lorna, but also her family, that she be transferred back to the city she loved the most, and to be buried alongside her parents in Chicago. Lorna’s diagnosis came as a shock, and the length of her fight was a lot shorter than anyone could’ve anticipated. With more time, certain funds could’ve been allocated towards fulfilling Lorna’s wishes, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. There are a lot of moving parts in order to get Lorna to her final resting place, and her daughter Lisa is taking on most of, if not all of the financial burden. No one should have to worry about incurring these astronomical costs while grieving the loss of their mother.
