Help cover funeral expenses for Megan Bos

Update:: Megan was found last night.

Our hearts are broken. I can't really talk about it as her death is being investigated. The police will release more details when they have them.

Hi, my name is Jennie Szalay and I have been friends Megan Bos since we were in grade school. Her family has been like my own ever since, so on behalf of her family, we are asking for your assistance to raise money towards a reward for her safe return.

There have been no new leads since March 19th when police were told she was with friends, at the intersection of Grand Ave. and Butrick Rd in Waukegan, IL. After receiving a phone call and telling her friend she would be back, she left the area on foot. We believe she went to meet someone or was picked up by someone she was at least familiar with. There was a text message a little while later that was sent from her phone, stating she was about to be on her way back. 1 ½ hours later she had not returned and she could no longer be reached.

There has been no one so far that has claimed to have talked with or seen Megan after the late night hours of February 19, 2025. We have not found any online presence or social media activity since that time. It also appears that her phone may have been off since that night. It has been 7 weeks since she disappeared without leaving a single clue. Her family and friends are very fearful about what may have happened to Megan.

Any donation, big or small, will help us to find Megan or further the investigation. We believe a cash reward could motivate the right people to come forward. If you can’t afford to contribute, please SHARE to everyone and any groups that will allow it, please help us spread the word.

Any donations not used specifically for the purpose of the reward will be donated to the Missing in America Network, an organization that supports and provides resources to families who are missing a loved one of any age.

The details and condition of the reward will be announced in the upcoming press release by the Antioch Police Department.
