Help Us Make Mollie & Mia's Vampire Movie!
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
We are excited to share that Mollie Shourd and Mia Tsuchida's senior thesis film, Full of Good Men, has begun production and is looking great! This film is not only a labor of love by all involved, but a cumulation of the skills that they've honed through their four years in Kenyon College's film program.
Full of Good Men is a short vampire thriller that follows Theo, who wakes up after a college Halloween party with no memory as to what transpired, and must reconstruct the events of what happened while battling strange bodily changes…including an insatiable thirst for blood.
But, in order to make Mollie and Mia's vision a reality, we need your help! Despite the department's best efforts, they are unable to fully fund this project, so we need to raise $250 to finish this film, including:
- Costumes: While we are sourcing most costumes from actors's closets, we need to buy several pieces that are integral to the film's story - vintage pieces for the Vampire, Halloween costumes for our main cast, and copies of clothing that will get blood on them (so that we can shoot several takes in a row).
- Props & Set Dec: The film begins at a college Halloween party, and we need the supplies to decorate it as such, including fake cobwebs, pumpkins, spider webbing, and candles.
- SFX Supplies: Full of Good Men is a vampire movie, and as such, we need to purchase items such as fake blood and fangs!
