Help Bring Produce to Monument Crisis Center

Donation protected
We are seniors at Acalanes asking for your support for our volunteer work. We volunteer at Monument Crisis Center and help with food distribution which has been a great experience. This center serves over 8,000 individuals, and we pack over 160 grocery carts daily for people in need. However, we often have little produce to include. This lack of produce means these individuals rely heavily upon canned and prepackaged food, making it more difficult for them to eat healthy balanced diets. So, once a week, we go to Concord Produce Market, where we they give us bulk prices to buy fresh fruits and vegetables to donate and distribute at Monument Crisis Center with money raised. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated in our effort. Thanks so much for helping these families have more fresh produce! Jackson Voogt and Alexia Silverberg.

Update: As of August 8th, we have already donated 2,536 pounds of strawberries, avocados, spinach, mangos, apples, cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, grapes, broccoli, nectarines, peaches, tomatoes, and pineapples! Please help us continue our mission!
