Help bring Mx.FX to Burning Man!

Hello friends, family, strangers, community,

Our queer and diverse Fire Conclave "Mx.FX" has been invited to perform in the Great Circle at Burning Man for the second year in a row! We have been hard at work choreographing and rehearsing for the last 8 months, and the hard work is (almost) done!

With our small, intimate numbers (providing an intimate, sexy performance!), any performer lost to financial difficulties preventing them from attending the burn would be a huge detriment to the dynamic and poignant piece we have worked so hard on.

In theme with the principle of Communal Effort, we are asking for support from the community to help make this endeavor as accessible, stress-free as possible! Please help bring Mx.FX home to Burning Man, 2023 - Animalia!

Many hands make light work - we are humbly asking for your support to help get us all safely to playa to perform. The funds collected will go towards plane tickets (NYC to Reno ain't cheap), gear transportation, camp contributions, fuel costs, a night or two of decompression hotel costs, necessary equipment, etc. Every bit helps! Our goal is to have no performer left behind or financially compromised from the event.

We appreciate your helping us to ~mix it up~ and bring our kinky, queer fire performance to playa.

A bit about us!

The Mx.FX mission is to bring queer artists and culture to the forefront of the fire and festival community while spreading the love of queer performance art and creating safe spaces for queer folx to limitlessly express themselves!

The Fire Council themselves have praised our art as "...truly unique, and we've been around fire for a long time.”
