Help Bring My Mother Home: Fight For Life & Rehab
Donation protected
My family and I were on a trip in the US visiting from India, when on 24th August 2023, we were rear-ended by a speeding pick up truck that thrust our family into a nightmare that no one should ever be in.
My mother was critically injured and brought to the Flagstaff Medical Centre as a trauma critical patient and had to be revived twice. 10 out of 12 ribs on both sides were broken, and she also suffered multiple pelvic and pubic fractures which has left her bed ridden. She had to undergo an emergent heart surgery on arrival and was lucky enough to make it out of the accident alive. She has undergone 5 major surgeries and will remain bed ridden for a long duration which we do not know yet, and has a long road to rehabilitation and recovery ahead of her.
