Help bring our dad Jason home and lay him to rest

Hello my names Claudia Crocker,

My dad Jason Crocker passed away between the 26.11.24-10.12.24 in Blacktown NSW and as a family we were only informed last week the 11.04.25 as you can imagine we are devastated, not only because we have lost our dad but at how long it has taken for us to be notified of his passing.

Dad wasn’t a perfect man and suffered immensely with PTSD and schizophrenia after leaving the military, this unfortunately lead to his passing.

this go fund me is to help raise money to bring our dad home and lay him to rest in a way he deserves. He has been left alone in NSW for 4 months already and we’d like to bring him home where friends and family can lay him to rest and give him the send off he deserves.

as a veteran he is hopefully entitled to compensation to help cover costs but unfortunately that process could take anywhere between 6-12months to be finalised.

Left without a choice we are asking if we could come together and help bring our dad home!

As a family we have discussed that whatever money is donated now, if and when we get some sort of compensation it will be donated to Parramatta Mission a charity that tried really hard to help our dad in his time of need when he was living rough in a park.
