Help Bring Outpost 364 Home
Donation protected
Outpost 364 has grown immensely over the years, and our passion to bring it to you continues to flourish. In 2023, we made this GoFundMe to support at least that year and the next and it definitely got us there. Thank you, to all who have donated, we couldn’t have done it without you! This GoFundMe will continue to operate as a place of ongoing support, and as a testament to your generosity, while we continue to find some more sustainable sources of funding.
For those who may not know, outside the wastes or within, Outpost 364 is a trading outpost and quest hub, at Wasteland Weekend. The Faceless Merchants operate and maintain the Outpost with passion and pride, bringing as much joy and intrigue as we can, to every Wastelander who darkens our door; and brightens our lives.
Let’s lay it all on the table, The Faceless Merchants need some financial help to continue to support Outpost 364. We love bringing the Outpost and all its quests to the wastes to share with you all, but unfortunately, the coffers have been stretched a bit too far over the last couple of years.
So, what does that mean, and what do we need? The current number we have come up with to get to the event for many more years is $12,000. That will likely change as time goes on, and this campaign will reflect that when it does.
Our biggest expense is transporting the outpost and our camp to the event site. This has easily reached $3000 by itself in the past, and is also one of the toughest things to cut down. Depending on what rentals are available it could be even more expensive. Along with that, there are constant repairs and improvements to the structure itself, which only gets more expensive as time goes on. These costs come back every single year, so having a buffer allows us to prepare for the worst. That said an even bigger buffer means we could improve our logistics, and even cut some costs, but first that buffer has to be built.
All in all, we absolutely love bringing the Outpost to you and getting the chance to make your time in the wastes as amazing as possible. If we could afford to do this on our own forever, we would without a doubt. Reality has just been a little harsher than the Outpost can weather alone.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, from the bottom of our hearts. Any support is appreciated, and we know many others are in a similar boat, so even just a share goes a long way.
