Help bring Owen home for his final resting place

Hi my name is Anna. Life long neighbor and friend of Owen.

Owen MacKinnon, 35, sadly passed away on April 11th 2024 due to an accidental drowning while on vacation in Mexico.

Owen radiated love and was known for his adventurous spirit, his mischievous grin and an infectious laugh that remains unforgettable to those who have crossed any one of his many life paths. Although Owen was not known to take life too seriously his unwavering love for his family and friends was the exception. Owen had an undeniable ability to make a friend in any situation and the amount of lives touched by his presence and friendship are even more numerous then the engines he revved and the side hobbies he took up. Owen showed great excitement in making a good idea (as well as some bad ones) come to life and lit up every space he walked into where he freely gave hugs, jokes and conversation.

Contributions to this fund will be used to alleviate some of the financial burden of getting Owen home to Canada for his final rest, celebrating his life and offsetting the costs of travel associated with this and the settling of his affairs. Contributions of any size will allow the family that Owen loved so much to focus a little more on the immense grief of losing someone who was so loved and had such a presence.
