Help lay Ricky Vara to rest

My name is Marie Vara, my son Ricky Vara has been missing since Saturday morning May 11, 2024. He was last seen leaving work from the Amazon facility in Visalia California.

A little background information about who Ricky Shane Vara is he is a very kind, gentle person and has put everyone before himself. He has a magnetic personality and was a private and quiet person. He is very close to his family and supportive of people with “good vibes” as he would say in his own words. Ricky has natural talent and is very artistic, not only did he have the ability to paint and draw, he brought his natural art talents to photography, had a natural green thumb, and enjoyed creative music with a Amahi 12inch tongue drum. He dabbled in so many things and brought his artistic talent to macramé and recently was into ornamental wire wrapping with carved wood pieces. He had aspirations in creative design.

We are respectfully asking for support to assist with the search efforts to bring Ricky home. The support includes attorney and private investigative efforts we have paid in advance, food and fuel for independent search efforts, advertising and printing, keeping phone active and his personal vehicle maintained while in police custody for forensics.

The base amount is an estimate of the calculated amount we have paid and wish to continue for several months in support of the search and investigation. His status as a missing person is supported by professional opinion he may be associated with or the type determined to be a hate crime.

Our Family has interest in supporting some of these ongoing expenses by making his art available for purchase. We will likely transfer his art pieces to canvas or have some prints framed. More to follow on this.

Any funds remaining or exceeding the amount after reimbursement to our family”s expenses will be transferred and / or donated to a similar cause. Should your donation need an accounting of expenses please let us know.
