Help Bring Santos Home & Laid to Rest
Donation protected
On November 16th, 2024, Santos Mendoza’s family received the news that he had been found deceased after a long night of searching for him after he was reported missing the evening before. The cause of his death is under investigation, and his family and friends who love him are devastated, shocked, and completely heartbroken over his loss.
Santos was the guardian of his niece, the daughter of his sister living in Mexico. She was getting an education at Woodland High School but wants to come home to be with her mom and the rest of their family. His family is desperately trying to help his sister get entrance into the US so that she can come take her daughter and her brother home, so that they may lay him to rest near his family and give him a proper burial and ceremony.
Santos was gentle, kind, loving, hardworking, and no matter what it was that you needed, he would always be there to help you and would give a stranger the shirt off his back. He spent 22 wonderful years with the love of his life, Rosy, and was the beloved stepfather to her three children, grandfather to her 8 grandchildren, and loving friend and companion to so many others. He will be greatly missed until we meet again. The only comfort we have now is knowing that he is free of pain, and once again, dancing with the love of his life, just as he did the night they met in the glory and warmth of heaven.
Your love, support, and continued prayers are so appreciated during this horrific time. If you can donate to helping get Santos home, we thank you so very much.
