Help Bring Shahi Burrell's body Home and Support His Family
Donation protected
We urgently need your help. Shahi Burrell, a 32-year-old Jamaican man with a quiet and kind spirit, tragically passed away in Barbados, leaving behind more questions than answers. After only two months in his new community in Deacons, St. Michael, Shahi was found in his home after concerned neighbors realized something was wrong. His sudden death is still under investigation, but his family’s pain and loss are overwhelming.
Shahi leaves behind his heartbroken mother, Daisy Burrell, and his two young children, Shanel (6) and Shahi Jr. (9). They are now faced with the daunting task of bringing Shahi home to Jamaica for a proper farewell and supporting his children during this unimaginable time of loss.
We are calling on you, our community, to help raise the funds needed to cover the costs of repatriation, funeral expenses, and to provide some support for his children. No donation is too small—every dollar will bring Shahi one step closer to home and offer his family the chance to grieve and heal.
Your generosity can make a real difference. By contributing, you will help give Shahi the dignity of being laid to rest in his homeland and provide his family with the closure and support they desperately need. Together, we can offer this grieving family some peace during this painful time.
Please donate today and help us bring Shahi home. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
Details for the service are yet to be determined.
