Help Bring Smiles to Children at GWH Hospital, Swindon

Friday 28 March Update.

In 4 days we managed to raise £770 and were able to buy 2 of everything on the amazon list provided by the nurses as well as another bunch of books, learning resources and games from The Works and a lot of toiletries, wipes and squash from Poundland. On top of this we were also able to donate £270 cash to the children's fund at GWH. Thank you so much everyone for your donations.

We also had a great conversation about diversity, inclusion, and community outreach.

It was their first time receiving Eid donations, and we hope to grow this initiative in the future, God Willing.

We will leave the fundraiser open for 1 more week in case there are more people wanting to donate and we will get the cash to the ward.

In time for Eid we’re aiming to raise £400 to buy toys and essentials for children staying long-term at GWH Hospital in Swindon. The list comes directly from the nurses who care for them and includes sensory toys, learning resources, bath toys, headphones, bottles, toilet seats, and more.

We’re also PERSONALLY adding some lovely books about Ramadan and Eid, along with cheerful Eid Mubarak stickers.

If we raise more than £400, we’ll buy extras. If less, we’ll prioritise the most needed items.
