Help Bring Soul Palace to Colorado & Desert Hearts Festival!

Dear old friends and new friends of Soul Palace,

I’m reaching out to you today with a heart full of hope and a deep love for a dream that has touched countless lives. In 2016, my best friend Dave and I embarked on a journey to create something magical: Soul Palace.

Initially sparked at Desert Hearts 2016, this immersive art installation is a festival sanctuary of creativity, connection, and joy. Soul Palace invites everyone to rediscover the wonder of their inner child through four interactive domes and a central space designed for dancing, relaxing, workshops, and activities that inspire authentic connection and ecstatic play.

Through the experience of friendship with each other, Dave & I discovered powerful transformation & healing through play, even as almost 30-something year old adults, and we felt so inspired to share that embodied wisdom with others that we created Soul Palace. We created it to offer a totally unique, fully immersive and life altering experience to the festival community that has changed our lives. At the heart of Soul Palace, we want to inspire people to realize their dreams, follow their highest excitements, connect with their inner child, and trust in the process of pursuing and manifesting their heart’s deepest desires. It’s a non-stop celebration of life that includes and embraces the inner weirdos of us all. It’s a place to be reminded that we are an infinitely powerful and cosmically royal being beyond measure; that the Universe supports us in every thing we do and is eternally abundant beyond our wildest dreams.

Over the next two years, together we shared Soul Palace with hundreds, if not thousands of people, witnessing the light & healing our shared dream brought to many and provided a safe haven at festivals (that aren’t always all love and light).

Tragically, Dave passed away in 2018, leaving a void in my heart and in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. I never, ever could have anticipated that Dave would leave this realm so soon, nor did I anticipate that I would be left as the sole owner of Soul Palace and the one to carry on this dream (and be responsible for all of the infrastructure and financial responsibility that comes with it)…but despite this immense loss, I have been blessed with an incredible team of Soul Pals who loved and believed in Dave and have continued to help keep his dream alive 6 years later.

In 2022, I moved to Denver, Colorado, and had to leave Soul Palace in storage in California due to financial constraints. Now, we have an amazing opportunity to bring Soul Palace to Desert Hearts Festival 2024 in Flagstaff, Arizona, from July 4-8. However, we need help to make this a reality. Transporting our beloved installation from the SF Bay Area to Denver (to make alterations & repairs, clean the infrastructure and get it festival ready) and then drive it to Arizona is costly, and we need funds to cover these expenses.

We are launching this GoFundMe to raise the necessary funds for transportation. The best option is to ship Soul Palace in a moving container, ensuring its safe arrival. Any leftover funds will be used to enhance the installation, making it the best experience yet for everyone who visits.

What is Soul Palace?

Soul Palace is a fully immersive interactive art installation/experience zone/workshop space that includes four interactive domes and one large, open center space that holds room for dancing, relaxing, workshops and activities that center around guiding you to connect with your inner child (and even your inner teenager)!

Soul Palace is the space to come nourish your soul through authentic connection, creative exploration and ecstatic play! At most festivals, we've noticed there tends to be either party/play themed environments or sacred/transformational environments that include more serious talks and workshops. ​We bridge the gap by creating a holistic gathering space where one can experience awakening, connection, and healing alongside playfulness, creativity and celebration​.​ We find that when you get back into the mindset of a child, that's where the ​real magic happens. We believe that until around the age of 5, your ​soul​ is ​shining​ with no reservations; before social constructs and conformity take hold. Soul Palace is the place to celebrate your inner child that wants to be seen and expressed!
