Help Bring Steve Home to Rebuild His Life

Hi Jessica and myself (Steve Ex Wife) are trying to get Steve home home out of the Nursing home that Jess has had to fight and worked so hard fighting the social care system to get him back to his own home. She never wanted him to go into the nursing home and its been hard for her and her dad.

Our amazing dad, grandad, brother, and friend Steve had a devastating stroke just 6 months ago. At just 61 years old, he’s now living in a nursing home—not because it’s the best place for him, but because he lives alone and there wasn’t another option.

Steve hasn’t had a real chance to recover. He spends his days confined to his room, with no stimulation, no chance to get out, and no real rehab. His eyesight is impaired, his cognitive abilities are affected, and he needs a PEG to eat. But despite all that, Steve still has so much fight left in him.

We believe that if Steve could come home with the right support, he would thrive.

What the Funds Will Be Used For:

Mobility Aids & Home Modifications – To make his home safe and accessible.

Extra Care Staff – So he can get out, stay active, and not be confined to the house.

Transport to Rehab – Weekly trips to specialized rehab to help him regain strength and independence.

Therapeutic Support – To give him the cognitive and physical rehab he needs to improve.
