Help Bring Local Students to See "Lost on a Mountain in Maine"!

We are raising $3,600 to give all students from Valley Regional Middle School and Community High School in Fort Kent the opportunity to watch the film adaptation of "Lost on a Mountain in Maine" at Fort Kent Cinema.

Why this is important: "Lost on a Mountain in Maine" is a beloved book that has been part of the school curriculum for many of us. This inspiring story, based on a true event, teaches perseverance, courage, and survival skills. Now, the story is coming to life on the big screen with a movie release on November 1st, and we want every student to experience it together.

What your donation will cover:
  • The licensing fee to show the film (i.e., the matinee ticket)
  • A popcorn and drink to complete the experience

With your help, we can bring the entire student body together for this educational and fun event! Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Let's inspire our students through cinema!
