Help bring Tayan home for Christmas

Hi my name is Kylie and I am trying to help some amazing strong friends bring their little boy home for Christmas. Tayan is a fighter who has beaten the odds against him. His parents had to go to Brisbane 5 months ago to bring him safely into the country prod. This amazing little fighter was diagnosed with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HPLH) Since his birth Tayan has spent most of his time in the hospital having his first open heart surgery at 6 days old. It has been a struggle and a daily fight for this little boy to be here with his family. On Tuesday Tayan underwent his 2nd open heart surgery at just 4.5months old. He is still in the hospital and will

remain there until he can come home. His family have received the amazing news that he can be finally be home for Christmas so after 6 months away from by the time he is discharged the family are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. While they have been away they have had extra expenses associated with not being able to be at home and for Tayan’s needs. With rent, food and the general cost of living the family are unable to afford to get home. They can not drive straight through as Tayan needs to be tube fed and will need to be out of the car for his medical attention along the way. A drive that would normal take a day to do will take the family 2 days now. They will need to afford accommodation on top of the fuel and meal expenses to get home.
