Hi, my name is Kathy Audinet. I have been involved with Basset rescue for about 15 years. I got my first Basset 32 years ago, and haven’t been without one since!!

I recently have been focusing on rescuing 5 Bassets from China. Four of them were saved right off the meat trade truck and one is a owner surrender. Their names are Boy, Huckleberry, Tuxedo, Forest and Fortune. We believe Fortune is the mother of the 3 black pups. The pups are approximately 1 1/2- years old. Shelter life is hard as we all know. These dogs need homes of their own as soon as possible!! Please help us help them! Together we can do this! -The amount of shipping is determined by the shipping company. It goes by the dogs size and weight.

-Shipping company does all paperwork including getting CDC permit. They set up flights and the dogs have people from shipping company checking on them at each stop. They also have foster homes if the dogs have to stay the night to catch a flight.

—Dogs get thorough health checks, shots, and

microchipped before traveling.
