Please help Spay and Neuter 35 cats 06.24.2024 in Pomona.
Tax deductible
Spay Shuttle is coming back to Pomona!! Save the date, Monday, June 24th. Please help fix 35 cats and kittens!
It's kitten season and litters are popping up everywhere. All shelters and rescues are full. There are not enough fosters. Please help us prevent more litters. Thank you!
This low cost clinic will accept a combination of personal pets, TNR's, strays and foster cats/kittens.
With your help, we can prevent hundreds, even thousands of kittens from being born, scared and hungry (cue the Sarah McLachlan song).
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to bring the Stray Paws Animal Haven, Spay Shuttle to local cities. With all the shelters and rescues full, the only way to help alleviate some of the stress is by spaying and neutering. Any donation will help make an impact. Whether you love cats or think they are a nuisance, this is an opportunity to help reduce overpopulation. This would guarantee 35 appointments for fosters/strays/feral/TNR and personal pets. The minimum cost for each date is $3,500. The goal is to raise $4,375, which is $125 per kitten/cat. This is an extremely low cost when you consider vets charge upwards of $400. All low-cost clinics are either booked up months out or take in limited amounts on a first come basis. Can you imagine being able to have a whole family fixed at one time? Or being able to TNR a colony. Kitten season has everyone at max capacity, we all know shelters are euthanizing to make space. People are dumping kittens/cats which doesn't solve the problem, it only makes it someone else's problem.
All TNR cats will include Spay/Neuter, Fvrcp, Rabies, Flea Control & Eartip.
If they are pet/tame cats you have the option for the cats to receive any of the following: FVRCP, Rabies & Flea Control.
Additional costs:
Microchip $15
Felv/Fiv Test $35
Convenia $25
Travel outside of 15 mile radius (LA County) $200 (location subject to SPAH approval)
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause! If we come together, we can help get this problem under control; which is hard to say about anything these days. There aren't enough resources, so let's start with the root of the problem. The more we raise, the more dates we can commit to.
