help bury Tina in hawaii

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
It is with deep sadness and shock that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Tina Fanning (maiden name: Ferreira), who was tragically taken from us in a car accident while driving to pick up medication following a recent eye surgery. The cause of the accident is still unknown, but it is suspected that she may have suffered a stroke and lost consciousness while driving.
Tina was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in March 1970 and always remained connected to her island roots. She was a strong, beautiful, and loyal soul who touched many lives through her work as a massage therapist, dedicating herself to the healing arts. Her love, kindness, and devotion to the well-being of others made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan Fanning; her parents, Shirley and Gary Ferreira; her brother, Jason Ferreira; her son, Jordan Hensley; her daughter, Jazmyn Hensley; and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who are all grieving her unexpected loss.
We are raising funds to fulfill Tina’s wish to be laid to rest in her homeland of Hawaii. The process of bringing her home involves several expenses, including:
Preparation of her body in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Transportation of her body from Oklahoma to Hawaii
Retrieval and care of her remains upon arrival in Hawaii
Storage fees until her burial
Funeral services at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Hawaii, where we will honor her life and say our final goodbyes.
Any donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to contribute, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who may be able to support.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support as we navigate this heartbreaking journey. Thank you for helping us honor Tina and bring her home to rest in the place she loved most.
With love and gratitude,
The Fanning & Ferreira Family
