Help Bring Tofu and Plato Home
Donation protected
We are a small family-owned business that specializes in the care of exotic birds.
Last night someone destroyed the window of our large bird room and broke in. They stole Tofu the Umbrella Cockatoo, as well as Plato the African Red Belly. Our hearts are shattered by their loss. These birds are LOVED, and all we want is to see them returned home safely.
Tofu is a male umbrella cockatoo who is easily identified by his classic phrase "Hi Tofu." He can also say "Hello" and "I love you" or variations of it, such as "I love tofu."
Plato is 28 year old African Red Belly parrot who is mostly quiet, but will say "Hello," when the phone rings, "Night night," and "Hi Plato." He does not have a lot of red on his belly.
The entire local bird community is shattered by this loss, and we are doing everything we can to spread the word and bring these babies home. However, as a small business there is only so much we can personally provide as an incentive.
Many of our community members have asked us to set up a fund to raise the reward, as these birds are invaluable. This is it.
We would appreciate any help we can get; all we want is these birds back home safe.
This is what we hope for again:
(This is a reunion between Mercedes, the store owner and Tofu when the store reopened after lockdown.)
All of the money raised will go directly towards increasing the reward for their return.
