Help Bring Ukrainian Students to Oregon
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Vlad Bilan and I’m helping set up this fundraiser to aid Ukrainian students in transitioning to Oregon to continue their education.
Please read info below -
As a result of Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, 2/3 of Ukrainian children have been displaced. In an attempt to help families find a safe and nurturing place for their teens, we’ve partnered with Milo Adventist Academy in bringing at least 20 Ukrainian students to its institution.
Milo is graciously helping find funds for these students’ tuition; however, in addition to the tuition cost, some families cannot afford several other travel-related expenses.
So, we help in covering the cost of:
- Student visas: $350 per person
- Embassy appointment fees: $160
- A one-way ticket to PDX: ~$700
- iPads/Chromebooks for school
- Bedding/towels/lamps/hygiene products and other dorm room necessities: $100-$200
- Essential clothing items as needed: $100
You can also help us with:
- Gift cards from Fred Meyer, Amazon, or any other gift certificates!
- Donating your travel points (for the purchase of tickets)
- Donating iPads, Chromebooks or laptops.
- Making donations to CashApp or Venmo
CashApp: $VladBilan
Venmo: @Vlad-Bilan
*Financial needs are ongoing and will be distributed as needs present themselves:(winter clothing, next year’s school supplies, etc.)
Thank you so much! If you have any questions feel free to contact me!
