Help Bring Won Jae Ro Home to Rest

Won Jae Ro, a beloved, rambunctious, outgoing, charismatic, hardworking man was in a tragic accident which caused him to suffer substantial brain injuries. After a strong battle over the past few days, we are saddened to say Won Jae Ro may be leaving us and embarking on his next chapter in life. His family has not seen him since he moved to Seattle in 2021 and your kindness and generosity would help prevent the financial burden from compounding the emotional one during this difficult time. It would also allow his family to bring him home to South Korea, where he can be laid to rest with his kinsmen.

Won Jae Ro was the greatest family and friend anyone could have ever met. He was the source of light for many people and his ability to make people feel at home, to brighten people's days, and to positively impact for those around him will never be forgotten. While many people will remember Won Jae for his fun, charismatic, and outgoing side, Won Jae also was the most considerate and kind person we've ever met. Despite his strong and large stature, he was a big softie deep down inside who cared for a lot of people.

For anyone who knew Won Jae, they would tell you how much he wanted out of life. He had big dreams, which were coupled by his ambition and determination; he never failed to work hard towards achieving his dreams. His unbridled love for his mother and sister was the driving factor that pushed him to be the best version of himself. His family-oriented nature brought people of all walks of life together and he was a source of encouragement, hope and motivation for all. Now, we turn to you for hope.

While friends and family of the Ro family will come together to help, we're limited in the financial impact we can make to meaningfully assist the bereaved. Unfortunately, Won Jae was not able to secure medical, long-term care, or hospital indemnity insurance so soon after graduation.
