10K Challenge for Clean Drinking Water
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Salifu Jallow, and I am fundraising for an ambitious yet profoundly impactful endeavour that aims to bring the gift of clean drinking water to two deserving communities.
Seeing a herd of livestock drinking from an open pond of stagnant water didn’t seem that unusual. However, seeing a woman on the other side of the pond collecting water with a child standing next to her drinking that same water did shock the humanity in me.
Yes, it’s 2023
Yes, there are people who still do not have the most basic thing many of us take for granted. Clean drinking water.
I don’t know why, but I know the how.
Join me in making an immediate and lasting impact. Your donation will directly contribute to the construction of a mechanised borehole, bringing hope and health to the residents of this community.
In the spirit of human kindness and community empowerment, I am embarking on a road trip challenge from John o’ Groats in (Scotland, United Kingdom) to Accra in Ghana (10,000km) to serve as a catalyst, and not merely a travel adventure, but a movement for change with a noble mission. The goal is to raise funds to build a sustainable mechanised water supply system to a community in The Gambia and Ghana. These communities, like many others, face the daily challenge of accessing clean and safe water, a fundamental necessity often taken for granted.
Thank you for considering this meaningful cause. Your generosity will not only transform lives but will also serve as a beacon of hope for an entire community in need.
