JETT is home
Hello,
On 6/9/24 @ 10:20 am, Jett escaped the VRBO the family was in for vacation. Jett ran across all 4 lanes of HWY 98. It's astounding he wasn't hit. Dad stopped traffic as he tried to catch him but Jett is fast and ran head on into more traffic heading West. Other people joined the chase which made him run faster and the last sighting of him was behind Mary Esther Target. He was seen running into the woods and he disappeared.
Every day this wonderful community has stepped up to help this family that doesn't know anything about the area.
A poster was made and passed out or hung, posts on every Facebook group possible, a Facebook page was created. There have been 2 sightings of him in the Doolittle area so we know he's alive and a broad location of where he is hunkered down.
We've had professional dog locators assisting from afar with lists of equipment, protocols, and planning the next steps.
This has cost the family thousands of dollars and they must return home on Sunday so we are in a crunch.
We need game cameras with thermal night vision that can connect to cellular networks and provide video and photo, live stream, and notifications.
We go through 300 full color flyers each day we do a search. We need more flyers if anyone wants to donate towards that cost or call FedEx office and pay for some, that will help. [phone redacted]
Tell them you want to order full color of the "bring Jett home" flyer. They have it on their system for a few days but I'll renew the image as needed.
The funds will go to search costs and equipment. Help with reward if needed. Anything left over will be donated back to a 501c3 that assists owners search and reunite pets with their owners so we can help save another lost pet.
