Help Brit (and family) During Chemo!

This is Holly Rawlings, Brit Atchison’s older sister. I am starting this page as a way for us to all lift a bit of stress off his shoulders at this time. Brit and wife, Martina, have 5 kids at home including a baby.

Recently, Brit had been having pain throughout his hips. He had visited the ER and nothing had been found. That is until… July 29th 2023. A cat scan was done and he was admitted to the hospital. The doctors had multiple concerns. Biopsies were done fairly quickly and within a day he was on chemotherapy treatments for Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. Further results will be coming in from the biopsy but this diagnosis warranted immediate and aggressive treatment.

Not only is this dude now battling Leukemia but he has a new baby born in April with his own health battles, plus an entire family who is depending on him! Martina, his amazingly supportive wife, is with him at the University of Chicago where he was rushed by ambulance for treatment. With neither of them working and bills still coming in, they are going to need some help!

Let’s help them in any way we can right now and alleviate some of the stress he is under so he can put that strength into his fight. Every $$ counts!

$5000 - monthly bills and living expenses while in treatment

$1000 - back and forth travel to Chicago

$14,000- just to get started with hospital bills. He has to stay for at least the next 2 weeks. Chemo, pain management, and who knows what else….
