Help Britney get to Tokyo 2020

Britney is a 17 year old girl who was involved in a horrible Road traffic accident in June 2009 just after her first holy communion. Britney was severely injured and fought for her life for three weeks. She spent nearly 6 months in Temple Street Childrens Hospital. Unfortunately Britney was then left paralysed from the waist down. She then went to the National Rehabilitation Centre where she spent another 5 months.
Britney recovered well and returned to school after a year. As the years went by, Britney got used to her disability and started doing all sorts of wheelchair sports. She joined North East Thunder Basketball team in Ardee. She trains there every week and the team travel all over Ireland for Basketball competitions. Britney was then approached by a para powerlifting coach, Ken Hurley, to try out powerlifting. Para powerlifting is for people with diasabilities, very similar to powerlifting accept that they use a wider bench and get strapped down on the bench in order to lift the weights, ie bench press. Para Powerlifting is new to women in Ireland. Currently there is only one senior lady representing Ireland and Britney is the first junior girl.
Britney soon started training in August 2016. She really loved it and excelled very quickly. Britney then took part in the Irish Nationals in Cork in November 2016 where she obtained a silver medal. She then qualified for the 2017 Fazza World Cup in Dubai on 27th February.
Britney has really overcome all the odds and is a real brave and strong girl. She is training very hard and is sacrificing alot for this dream. She will be competing in about 3 different competitions in different countries a year, representing Ireland.
We have to fund these ourselves so therefore need your help please. We need your help in order to pay for flights and accommodation. Britney has to have a carer with her at all times, so the funds raised will help with all the above mentioned. Britney is also paving her way towards the Paralympics in Tokyo 2020. Please help Britney on this fantastic journey.
Thank you
