Help Brittany and Heidi Rebuild Their Home after Milton

Hurricane Milton has affected so many. The devastation after Helene was enough for years, and now Milton has made everything even worse.

My job is ending in January, and I'm trying to go back to school in January to become a teacher. I've always had a dream of being a PE Teacher/Coach, and unfortunately, I do not qualify for any loans or grants because they were applied to my first degree.

With that being said, I will not only have to use my savings for school, but now we have to redo everything in our home.

Our home is not in a flood zone, nor in an evacuation zone, and this still happened. Due to the extensive rains, and additional causes of the floods, we are left with nearly $20k worth of damage! All repairs to come will have to come out of pocket because we didn't have flood insurance.

Setting our pride aside here and asking for help, in any way anyone can. If you or anyone you know is able to help support us in rebuilding, that would mean the world. The hardest thing to do is ask for help, but it is just one of those times where we need to.
