Help Brittany And Nico Secure Safe Housing

I am a queer, nonbinary Black woman in need of $4,000 to move out of the toxic, abusive and triggering environment I share with my family. my mom has given me until April to move out. I am trying to get back to Maryland as it is the only place I am familiar with and the only place I have a support system and the resources I need, although i am willing to pursue any option that is available to me. this environment has taken the biggest toll on my mental well-being than I've experienced since I was a kid and I now have no choice but to leave. but if I cannot come up with the funds, I don't know what will happen to me. living here, I am subject to mental, emotional and verbal abuse, as well as witness to mental, emotional, verbal and physical abuse. as a perpetrator of abuse myself, this environment is exactly the opposite of what I need to change and grow from my own behavior, and pursue having intentional and healthy relationships with those around me. I do not even have the space to practice this in this household because I am being abused myself. I'm in desperate need of help, I can't do this on my own. thank you for your time <3

I have been abusive towards folks in my life, especially those I lived with a few months ago under my current lease. It is because of my abuse that I moved out of that housing arrangement and am currently living with my family.

3/14/2024 Update: my mom has given me more time to come up with the funds to leave, extending my deadline as long as i need. this is great news as i am no where near ready and able to leave financially, however the longer i stay the more abuse i will be subjected to. at the rate im progressing with my gofundme i wont be able to leave until after July of this year because i cannot afford to pay my current rent along with the new one i would aquire by moving. This is very much still an urgent situation.
