Help Brittany fund her UK visa!

Family and friends,

 

I need your help! In order for me to continue to live and work in the UK for the next 2 years, I have to pay for a Graduate visa.

 

The visa application alone costs a whopping £700 (around $921.74) and the NHS surcharge will cost an additional £1,248 (around $1643.33), amounting to a total of £1948 (around $2565.06). GoFundMe also takes a 2.9% + £0.25p transaction fee per donation, so I had to add £58 pounds, making a grand total ask of £2006 (around $2641.44).

 

I cannot afford this on my own right now and am asking if you can contribute if and what you can! If you'd prefer to use Venmo rather than GoFundMe (to avoid the transaction fee), I'm @Brittany-Hernandez-11. 

For my friends and family in America - please note that the donations are in GBP £ not USD $, so be mindful of the conversion rate as the pound is stronger than the dollar at the moment (so, a £50 donation = around $65.91).

 

Despite being a licensed attorney with a master's degree, it took over three months, 75 job applications, and all of my savings to get the job I have here in the UK at Valla, where we help people who have been discriminated against, treated unfairly, or harassed at work manage their employment legal case on their own from the initial stages all the way to tribunal. I only started on January 10th and have not yet been able to fully recover financially from being unemployed (and having to reduce the number of clients I took on during my master's degree).

 

I know that I'm in the right place at the right time with the right person and the right company doing great and important work, but I need help to be able to continue.

 

I appreciate that not everyone will be able to contribute but I appreciate you all for whatever support you can provide - monetary, moral, or otherwise.
