Help Brittany Heal After Tragic Attack

My name is Kellie. My daughter, Brittany, was a victim of a violent crime. She was on her bike, her friend was on a bike behind her. A car was coming the opposite direction, the friend that was with her told her to go up on the sidewalk, she did. The car intentionally swerved, went onto the sidewalk, hit Brittany, carried her on the hood for about a block, slammed on his brakes, she fell off the hood, he then accelerated and ran her over. He attempted to back up to run her over a second time. Thank God, his car was stuck. He then got out of the car and proceeded to punch her repeatedly, fracturing several bones in her face. Her friend was running, trying to flag down a car and no one stopped. He was able to get the man off of her. A police car went by and the friend was able to flag him down. The suspect was arrested. Police say he appeared to either be under the influence, or severely mentally unstable. Brittany is currently in the ICU, with her pelvis fractured in multiple places, multiple facial fractures and a shattered eye socket. We will be staying in California, until Brittany is released. At which time, we plan to bring her back to Colorado, where she will get the rehabilitation she needs. Brittany will have many months of physical rehabilitation ahead of her and currently has no insurance. She is too old to be on ours. Any help is much appreciated.
