Help Brittany Moya kick cancers ass

To know Britt is to love Britt. She is a friend to all! A lover of life and fiercely loyal. We all know if anyone else was in need she would step up to help no matter what it took.
But her stubbornness won’t let her ask for it herself! She has been a trooper thru all of this! Strong as ever and taking each day as it comes. She is no stranger to cancer after helping her mom beat it twice and now at such a young age to have to fight herself. Right as she had started Graduate School! This is very aggressive so she hit the ground running with treatment and never looked back!

Here is the summarized story how it went for Britt:

May 2022 - I found a lump myself from self-examination. I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer. It was Estrogen & Progesterone (+) & HER-2 (-).

Sept 2022 - I underwent Egg Harvesting procedure and retrieved 10 eggs. It was a 2 week-long process of: 4 injections a day, daily bloodwork/labs and ultrasounds.

Sept --> Dec 2022 - I had chemotherapy at Emory University Hospital/ Winship Cancer Institute. The chemo meds were Adriamycin, Cytoxan & Taxol (ACT). Sadly, I was allergic to the 2nd half of my chemo (Taxol), but I was able to power through and finish my treatment!

Jan 2023: I underwent a double mastectomy with a lymph node dissection (22 nodes). It felt like I had a strait jacket of pain on, with 3 JP drains in. I wasn’t able to move arms, they were like T-rex arms. But my mom and my sister were amazing and helped me with everything!

April 2023: I started my radiation treatment. 25 rounds, meaning daily radiation for 5 weeks!

August 2023: Because of radiation, my left chest & shoulder developed "adhesive capsulitis" aka frozen shoulder, which has severely limited my range of motion of my left arm.

Nov 2023: My plastic surgeon noticed and diagnosed me with Lymphedema, swelling in my left arm. I have to wear compression sleeves everyday and night.

Jan 2024: I broke my ankle❤️‍, needing surgery and and I was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. But my mom bought me a knee scooter , so i was riding all over the house.

I spent the rest of the year doing PT for my ankle & shoulder/back, and Lymphedema.

Nov. 2024: I had my 2nd reconstructive surgery to repair the damage radiation caused. I underwent a Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforators (DIEP) flap reconstruction. It was a 10.5 hr surgery, but my surgeon did a wonderful job. I spent 4 days in the hospital.
-After 9 days at home, I noticed redness, tenderness and a fever of 103. I was readmitted to the hospital for 10 days! My family and I had to celebrate Thanksgiving with hospital food! I have an infection called cellulitis and needed IV antibiotics. It's been a rough month.
