Help Brittany Travel to See Mom in the Hospital

Hello, my name is Erin and I’ve been friends with Brittany since 2011 when we met at Northern Michigan University. She is such a bubbly, kind, hardworking individual, but she needs our help. She is stuck in Oregon, and hasn’t seen her family in two years. Now, her mom is going through some serious health problems and we don’t know how it’s going to turn out. Family is everything. Healing can come in many scientific forms, but the most powerful healer can be the presence of loved ones. Brittany only has one mom, and she needs to get there to see her, ASAP. I have priced airline tickets from Portland to Detroit, and it’s going to be around $550 round trip, plus a rental car, hotel to be near the hospital where her mom is getting heart surgery and the fees that GoFundMe takes. I recently lost my own mom, and I live far from my home in Michigan too. I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t have seen her one last time, which I did.
