Help Brittany with medical and living expenses

Hi, my name is Sherry and I am fundraising for a 36 year old sweet young lady named Brittany Holden. Brittany is a young woman with a family that consists of her husband and two young children. Brittany got some devastating news a few weeks ago. After a fall at home trying to let her dog out, Brittany was having some pain and during a self exam she felt a lump in her breast. After having a mammogram and a biopsy, she was told she had breast cancer. Just a week ago, Brittany had a double mastectomy. During her surgery the doctor removed 3 lymph nodes and one of those did show cancer. Brittany now faces another surgery or radiation.

Brittany is self employed, she is a beautician. Which means if she does not work she does not get paid. Her husband works long hours, but like most families today, it takes the two of them working to keep their family going. Due to surgery and recovery she was going to be out of work for a month and now facing more surgery or radiation she could possibly be out for two months, if not more.

I love Brittany as if she was one of my own. Her mother and I have been best friends for many years. I was part of Brittany's wedding, I remember when she had her children and now I am feeling the sadness of the journey she is now on with breast cancer.

I am asking that you help Brittany and her family during this difficult time. I know everyone has a hard time financially, especially still going through this Covid pandemic. If you can give, it will be greatly appreciated.

Brittanys faith and trust in God is keeping her spirits up and I pray that my effort in trying to raise some money for her will help relieve some of the stress so she can concentrate on getting better.
