Help Britt’s dying wish come true

Hello my name is Cheryl, I am the mother of Brittany Rinehart. I am trying to make my daughter’s dying wish come true.

My daughter passed away on July 18th 2023 at the young age of 32. She was battling cancer for 2 1/2 years. She was diagnosed just TWO DAYS after her daughter Abbigail was born.

A little history on my daughter.

Britt was born at 27 weeks and every day of the 32 years and 136 days she was on this earth she had difficulty breathing and was in some sort of pain. The first 3 years of her life were spent in and out of the hospital due to breathing issues. Starting at the young age of 3 she started having surgery every other month to remove growths from her throat. At the age of 4 she had a tracheotomy tube placed in her neck. Breathing was a daily challenge for her. She came close to death a number of times growing up. These growths moved to her lungs when she was teen, but didn’t seem to bother her until she became pregnant. The pregnancy hormones fed these growths and they became cancerous. While she was pregnant she refused any testing in order to make sure her baby was safe. She was diagnosed just two days after Abbie was born! She fought so so hard!!!

Britt was a HUGE Disney fan and even worked at the Disney store. In the first few months of treatment she would drag herself to work after chemo because she loved it so much.

From the day Abbie was born Britt wanted to take her to Disneyland. In the two and half years she was battling cancer she planned a few different trips and every time she had to cancel them because she was not well enough to make the trip. When she went on hospice she cried to me because she wouldn’t be able take her Abbie to Disneyland. We thought she had a little more time and Hospice was planning to rent an RV to take her to Disneyland even for just a short trip to make her dream and biggest desire come true. Britt told me she didn’t think she would be around long enough for that trip to happen.

I made her a promise that her husband Joe, my kids/other granddaughter and myself would take Abbie to Disneyland and do everything she wanted to do with her daughter. She passed away just 12 days after coming home. We want to keep our promise to her and make her dying wish come true and take Abbie to Disneyland and do everything her mama wanted her to do! Anything you can contribute will help my family and I make Britt’s dying wish come true. This money would be spent to help make this trip a financially stress free trip, so we can focus on making sure Abbie can experience everything her mama wanted her to see.
