Help Brooke and Their Cat Secure Safe Housing

hi there!

you probably know me from streaming, moderating, or other random things i have gotten up to on the internet.

i recently moved in with some people that i thought would be safe to live with, but i have quickly found that to not be the case. without giving away too many of my personal details, these people have said slurs they definitely cannot say, randomly moved my things without warning, tried to tell others that i am crazy/having a mental episode (my therapist strongly disagrees) and have over fed my cat claiming she’s “annoying them” which has caused her stomach issues to crop back up. i didn’t know the extent of the racism and homophobia when i agreed to live with these people, and i genuinely feel unsafe in my own home.

i am only trying to get enough funds to put a deposit down somewhere on my own for me and kitty to be able to get back on our feet. i’m currently a barista and work over 40 hours a week, but due to kitty’s vet visits and the recent move i have drained my savings.

if it was just affecting me i would suck it up, but it is heartbreaking to have to lock my kitty away because i cannot trust anyone to not let her get sick by overeating.

this has genuinely been my last resort but i cannot live like this anymore. i know there are so many other issues going on in the world right now and i do not feel more entitled than them!! i understand that i am lucky to even have a place to sleep right now.
