Help Brooke's Family After Tornado

On Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 an EF3 tornado ripped through Spring Hill, Tennessee destroying the landscape and heavily damaging hundreds of houses in its path. The tornado reached its peak (winds of 155 mph/900 yards wide) as it reached the street (Blackburn Ln) and the surrounding land that our family has lived on for generations.

Brooke Huckaby’s, my sister, home was tragically taken from her and her children in the tornado. As a single mother, Brooke’s primary concern is once again having a place for her children to call home.

Brooke’s friends and family are eternally grateful that and she and her children were able to escape to our Uncle’s house next door to shelter in his basement in time to avoid harm; however, Brooke’s home and most possessions could not be salvaged.

It is going to take time for them to rebuild their lives.

Anything that you may choose to give or do to help support Brooke and her children (Gaven, Hazel, and Lula) during this devastating time is greatly appreciated.

The outpouring of concern from all the volunteers, friends, family, neighbors, and emergency responders who helped aid during this tragedy has been overwhelming.
