Help Bruce Pay his bills

After years of missionary work - on my own - to Bangladesh and India and other more recent expenses, I am scraping the bottom of the barrel financially speaking.  I started going to Bangladesh in 1972 after the atrocities of the genocide there and have returned there many times since - until 2010.  There was also a period when a "friend" got a hold of several of my credit cards and ran up enormous bills.  What with being retired and having new expenses helping people here in the U.S, now I am in dire need of financial support - with large credit card bills.  It seems like a very large mountain to move.

Good news:  last night about midnight, I received a call from a chap in Bangladesh who received a "Science and Health" from me when we met one another at the YMCA in Dhaka.  He said he'd recently come across the copy of "Science and Health" that I gave him back in 1987 and wanted to call me to thank me and chat a bit.  It was about 11 AM in Dhaka when he called but midnight here at my home.  I was up, however having a late supper and watching "Gunsmoke," which plays at that late hour.  He said he was well and that in the giving of the book to him back in 1987 I had said it would give him a good understanding of God and preserve his health, which it apparently had done!   This shows what a book can do to spread the Gospel of Christian Science way over the other side of the world!  How did he find my phone number?  (I didn't leave that, generally speaking, as I assumed I'd cost too much for them to make that long distance call.)  He said that I'd left my address, and that he had "Googled it" and found my number.  Amazing wonders of these days!
