Help Bryan Get Back to the States ASAP!
Donation protected
Hello everyone. My name is Harmony Gray and my husbands name is Bryan Gray. We have 4 dogs that we love and adore. We’ve been together for 5 years and married for almost a year and a half. We recently moved from Arizona to Ohio in October of 2023.
After coming to the US from Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2013, for his (now ex) wife, Bryan’s Green Card expired in 2017 and unfortunately he wasn’t in the position, financially or mentally, to refile. After leaving a very unhealthy and abusive relationship, all of Bryan’s documents that showed proof that he DID enter the USA legally, were discarded. Bryan and I started dating at the end of 2018. Time got away from us. I know we dropped the ball, there. We started been paying a company to help Bryan file for a new green card since December 2023 and we were recently told that since we don’t have that documentation, we won’t be able to move forward. Yes, we could try to find those documents, but we don’t want to raise any red flags about Bryan being in the country “illegally”, and then Bryan gets deported. That’s my biggest fear.
This is where it’s difficult for me. We have always been very independent people. Having to ask for help is one of the last things I want to do, but I’m desperate. The faster we get the funds together the faster we can get Bryan back home to me and our 4 dogs, who are getting to be in their senior years.
Our plan now, is for Bryan to go back to Scotland on April 15th. He’ll be getting a job and saving as much as possible to get the process started. The process is long and expensive. Lawyers will cost a few thousand and the fee to file is over $3,000. We also need to gather funds to help Bryan get situated over in Scotland once he gets there, since this was such a short notice decision.
So.. please, if you can help at all. Either with a share or a donation, anything is greatly appreciated. Thank you
