Help Bryson City's Businesses Recover from Hurricane Helene

My name is Karen Proctor and I'm the executive director of the Bryson City, Swain County Chamber of Commerce here in Western North Carolina.

Our Chamber is conducting this fundraiser on behalf of our local businesses who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. While we were spared the devastation that many of our eastern neighbors experienced, our community did not emerge unscathed.

Many of our businesses have experienced flooding, power outages, etc. and all have experienced the loss of income from what should have been a great weekend in our small town as we ushered in the fall season.

Funds raised will be distributed to our local business community through a grant program managed by the Chamber so that all will have an equal opportunity to access the monies raised.

Please be generous in your donations as these small, mom and pop businesses are the heart of our community, employing countless locals and supporting our local sports teams, community nonprofits, and so much more.

Bryson City is a great little town with a strong spirit, and we will recover from this calamity. You can help us in that recovery - and we hope you will!
