Help Buck rebuild his life after a devastating fire
Donation protected
Update:
We are heartbroken to say, that on Oct 6th my Father lost his life from the injuries in the fire.
The community has been a big support. We have kept in contact with the other families that lost their homes. We have been praying for them as well. Most still do not have a permanent residence.
We truly appreciate everyone who prayed, reached out and donated to help rebuild his life.
We are now using the funds donated towards his final expenses.
Please keep all 12 families in your prayers. This has been a very difficult time for us all.
Support Buck Hall recover after devastating fire
Dear friends and family,
I am asking for help after my father, Buck Hall, is fighting for his life after suffering severe burns in a devastating apartment fire.
On September 17th, he lost his home to a fire, but worse, his life is forever changed. Firefighters rescued him from his apartment that night, unfortunately it was after more than 55% of his body was burned.
He was taken via ambulance to Richmond’s burn unit, where he’s been since. He’s been on a ventilator and had 24 hour dialysis. He’s had surgery for skin removal and grafting. He’s had complications with lungs, heart and kidneys and he’s in a medically induced state. And this is just the beginning.
We pray God gets him through, but if he’s able to survive, it’s still a long road ahead.
If you know my dad, you know he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He’s the one in need now. I’m asking for anyone who is able to please donate to help pay his medical bills and find temporary housing after his home burned down and he lost everything.
No amount is too small and every donation will go towards supporting him rebuild his life, if he’s blessed enough to continue it, as I know he would do all he could to support anyone else. If you cannot give, your prayers will go a long way.
Most of all, please pray for strength and healing for my dad.
Thank you,
Myra
