Help Bud Heal
Donation protected
Hey everyone this is Bud (or Buddy) and he could really use your help.
On Wednesday November 29th, Bud was found in a custodians closet in a parking garage in downtown Stockton. The security guard heard barking and went over to check it out but the person who put him in the closet had stuck metal poles in the door handles so no one could get in or out. The construction men nearby had to break open the door and they found a severely abused dog. Bud was in the closet with an electrical cord tightly around his neck and his body was wrapped in duck tape. The construction men had to use their tools in order to take off the cord and duct tape.
My friend who works downtown sent me pictures of him and asked me to help, so I did. Animal control told me they would simply put him down due to his condition and I could not let that happen. I took him in, bathed him, and have been giving him so much needed TLC.
We took him to the Vet on Friday and he has quite a few things that need fixing. His ears are infected (inside and outside), his left canine is broken, he had tape worm and roundworm, his neck has deep infected wounds from the electrical cord and his femur is broken and his hip is dislocated. We got him on antibiotics and dewormed him but the surgeries necessary to fix his leg, take out the tooth and neuter him is where we need help.
Bud is barely 2 years old and his demeanor is absolutely to die for. He is always wagging that tail, is eager to meet everyone and is the biggest cuddler I have ever met. His sweet soul melts into people when they meet him and he truly does have that resilient pitbull spirit. It breaks my heart someone so evil did this to an animal who is so helpless and innocent. He is the most forgiving and loving boy despite the pain he has experienced.
We are currently fostering him in effort to get him back to 100% health and find him a permanent home. We want to give him a shot at a life that he deserves. If you are able to help with Bud in any way it is greatly appreciated. All donations will go towards his vet bills. Thank you again. ❤️
