Help Build 10 Goose Women Displays

Hello! My name is Hanna, I am a visual artist and lover of geese and other waterfowl alike. April of this year I began a tiktok series where I make silly decorations for my yard. I hoped to bring some smiles and laughter to people not only in my community but anyone who resonates with my cause.
I began doing this after receiving one too many code violations from my city over frivolous things (eg. having a pile of sticks in my yard while doing yard work, having boxes on my porch while having a yard sale but the list goes on).
I feel like my city could be using our money for more important issues. I understand that some codes need to be in place for the publics safety and should be enforced, but I do have a problem with the way my city conducts their approach to this issue.
The city of Raytown encourage neighbors to tattle one another and I believe this creates hostility and division. The city increased the budget for code enforcement (nuisance abatement) by a WHOPPING 270.7% from 2018-2021.
Now why do we need to put that much of our money into penalizing community members who more than likely are the same community members who need our help the most. Many sick or elderly people cannot keep up with these extremely high standards, and while I do understand, and also would like for our city to look nice I believe we could find a better solution to this problem, especially with all the money we put towards this.
Instead of going out of their way to penalize community members in need of help and dividing us, I think we should have a community cleanup program. A program where the community comes together and donates there time to help others who have a difficult time maintaining their property. Instead of demonizing these people, go to them with compassion and understanding. You never know what someone is going through, but this is not the answer.
I was at first annoyed and bothered by my neighbors possibly reporting me, but that’s what they want. I am now more bothered than ever by the cities lack of ability to pick and choose what complaints are reasonable and what are not.
The city gave me a 10 day notice to take down my lawn art, why? because in the cities eyes it is labeled a nuisance. I believe this is harassment and a violation of my first amendment rights. Today I took down my Goose Woman in compliance with the cities request, but I am not going down without a fight.
So in protest to my cities misconduct and misuse of our tax dollars I would like to create 10 additional Goose Women to disperse through my city and cycle though houses with this project (Operation Goose Woman). I believe this would not only send a message to the city that more than one person is tired of these issues but it would also bring more unity to the city of raytown.
I calculated the costs of what it would take to create the additional Goose Women and it roughly totaled to $900 (i already have some supplies and will obviously be donating my time for this glorious project)
I am asking for donations to reach my goal and fill my city with love, laughter, and most importantly, Goose Women!
If you are a community member who would like to be involved with Operation Goose Woman please join the official facebook group to keep updated! (Goose Woman Enthusiasts)
